Ferienhaus Hochfilzen is a certified "Tyrolean cross-country specialist"!

According to the basics of the "Tyrolean cross-country specialists" we fulfill the following criteria as a special "cross-country company":

• Sports breakfast (fruit, muesli, ..) - not applicable for holiday apartments & campsites
• Ski room with storage for cross-country equipment (lockable and theft-insured)
• Ski room with waxing facility for cross-country equipment: waxing table or trestle, iron, power connector, touch-up pen, blade, brush, screwdriver
• Equipment for washing and drying cross-country clothing or washing and drying service (can be offered for a fee)
• Operation is a maximum of 3 km from the next cross-country ski trail entrance
• Cross-country skiing information corner with the following information:
  o Trail map of the region
  o Route suggestions of all levels of difficulty including a list of entry options
  o List with cross-country ski rental, shops + opening times / addresses
  o List of cross-country skiing schools + opening times / addresses
  o Timetable / opening times of public transport / cable cars with high-altitude trails
  o Specialist magazines (e.g. nordic sports, active life, ...)
  o Weather information: Current weather report with 3-5 day preview
• Cross-country skiing information on the company's website (and if possible also in the print advertising material):
  o Information that the company is a quality-tested cross-country accommodation, including a list of the fulfilled criteria and integration of the pictogram "Quality-tested cross-country accommodation"
  o Information about the region, cross-country trail offer, cross-country ski trail map for download, cross-country skiing packages ...
  o Further links to the cross-country skiing website of the regional tourism association
• Operation must be bookable online

The cross-country trails of all levels of difficulty have been awarded the Tyrolean cross-country seal of approval and are easily accessible throughout the region. The region around the Pillerseetal is particularly popular and known for its guaranteed snow. The high-altitude trails around Hochfilzen guarantee real cross-country skiing pleasure from December to mid-April.

Dominik Landertinger trail Hochfilzen

Village trail Hochfilzen

We meet at the starting point:

Village center, next to the municipal office / TVB office (WC, lockers) or Kulturhaus Hochfilzen, here large parking lot, public. WC, shower and changing facilities at the trail; 3 x wtl. Guests biathlon.

The village trail is suitable for beginners, at the railway underpass you can directly switch to the Warming trail.
Illuminated night trail: daily illuminated until 1 o'clock at night, length: approx. 0.8 km - runs initially parallel to the village trail, but then leads straight back to the starting point in front of the railway underpass; additionally with Skaterspur to train! Approximately 2.8 km distance, easy - even for beginners.

Pass Grießen trail Hochfilzen

We meet at the starting point:

Is in the village center next to the Raiffeisenbank. From the entrance "Hochfilzen Zentrum", walk up the hill on the left and continue across the state border to Salzburg until the Tödlingwirt. From there you walk through the Spielbachwald back to Hochfilzen. Length about 9.5 km. Demanding and moderately difficult.

Warming Trail Hochfilzen

We meet at the starting point:

Cross-country trail Warming (at the bus stop). This easy and about 3.5 km long Loäreristanz takes us on sunny grounds direction Wiesensee to the inn Wiesenseehof Seppi and from there back to the parking Warming. Ideal track for endurance training with two high-altitude loops! There train national teams and biathletes again and again. Look out for the "celebrities"!
